Aileron work continues - 3.0 hrs.

Today was a repeat of yesterdays session, on the left aileron this time. The nose skin was drilled, dismantled, deburred. Both rear skins were dimpled, cleaned and primed, ready for riveting. All the remaining ribs are now primed and dimpled, ready to rivet. The spars are dimpled, ready to prime. I also countersunk the counterweight pipes and cleaned them up for priming. The nose skins are ready to dimple on the leading edge.

This was another one of those sessions where you put in a lot of work, effort, and time, and nothing looks much different than it did before you started. Looks are deceiving, though. Progress is being made. These details have to be done.
