Today I was able to install the fuel float gauge and seal it all up. This concludes the plumbing inside the tank!

After carefully fitting it in place, I installed the fuel float gauge. I spent quite a bit of time fiddling around with it to make sure it works correctly, the wires are secure, and the full movement takes place with no problems. This is the only moving part in this whole system and I want it to be trouble free. Above, you see the float in it's full "up" position, indicating a full tank. Below, the float is fully down, when the tank would be nearly empty.

When I was satisfied that everything was done as good as it could be, I mixed up some Proseal and bolted the gauge in place. I decided to go ahead and use the rubber gasket that comes with it, with a good layer of Proseal on both sides, to make sure it is sealed with no leaks.
