Deburring and Dimpling the Tank - 2.5 hrs.

Today I was able to finish deburring the edges of the tank's skin. Then after some cleanup, I set up the DRDT-2 dimpling tool and started dimpling the tank skin. I'm using a special set of tank dimple dies that I got from Cleveland Tools. They make a dimple just a bit deeper than the standard #40 dimple, to compensate for the extra thickness of the proseal tank sealant. I got all the holes dimpled except for the #8 screw holes around the edge. I started on some of the ribs, thinking I could get them done before switching to the #8 dimple dies, but ran out of time. I'm anxious to get this prep work done so I can rivet this thing together.
