Left Wing Root Fairing - 3.0 Hrs.

My next task is to fit and drill the wing root fairing for the left wing, and to drill underneath the wing through the fuselage belly skin and wing root.

Above is a shot from underneath, looking up at the holes I drilled through the belly skin/wing root interface, using the sharpie marks measured and marked earlier as per the plans.

Next, it's time to fit and drill the wing root fairing. Like everything else that you're doing for the second time, it's easier and faster this time around.

Over the leading edge it goes, drilled and clecoed #40 first, then #30, finally #19 for number 8 screws. It's marked for trimming and pulled off. That's all for today.
