Fabricated static line clips - 2.5 hrs.

These static line clips are a pain in the you-know-what. I spent 2-1/2 hours tonight trying to get a handful of them finished. It was very frustrating. But I got it done.

Drawing number 25 gives the dimensions for the pieces of .025 stock that you cut to make these clips. Do yourself a big favor. Cut the pieces an inch longer. The biggest frustration when bending them around a 1/4" rod to form the clip was trying to get the ends to match up. One or the other was always short. I wish I had just cut the stock longer. Once the clip is formed, you can just cut the ends to length. It would have saved me a bunch of time. I'm just glad to have them done. Now I just have to figure out how many to actually use and where to mount them for the static line.
