Lydia's Story:
I have been very fortunate to re-build my kennel with outstanding
bitches that have many of my foundation lineages. Lydia is an
example of this good fortune. Bred
by Mark Hersman (Westar), Lydia came to me as a nine week old
puppy. Mark believed in her quality at a very young age and as she matures
she has not disappointed me.
Lydia earned several all breed and specialty major reserves
and a 4 point Specialty win, all from the puppy class. She took time out
for a litter and in early 2006 returned to the show ring.
She first took BW for a 3 point major under Ms. Patricia Jung at
Puyallup Valley Dog Fanciers (1/15/06) and at Santa Clara Vly.
KC (2/19/06) under Marjorie Tuff for WB for another 4 pt. major.
I am thrilled to announce that Lydia, now BISS Champion Westar Krystalyn Imagination, has finished at the SSC of Greater Tucson (3/18/06) WB, BW, BOS for a 5 pt. major. Thank you Cathi Gorman. As a move-up the next day at the SSCGT show, Lydia is BISS under Kim Schive. What a start as a champion! Thank you judges and Tammie Gabrielson in your presentation of Lydia.
Lydia has earned back-to-back BISS wins again! This time at the Sacramento Valley SSC (4/1 and 4/2/06) under Tom and Nioma Coen. Thank you judges for these wonderful wins. Also, thank you Mark Hersman, Lydia's breeder, for handling her to both BISS wins.

- Lydia Made the Third Cut!There were so many lovely dogs at the 2006 ASSA National, I am delighted that judge Melanie Williams saw her through to the very end. Presented so beautifully by Tammie Gabrielson. She is now being bred to Ch. Sunebank Caerleon Qwest, puppies due mid-July.
