Edition. Very nice Mustang. I've been looking
for a copy of this particular version, and lucked out with a winning
bid on ebay. Like my other Platinum Editions, this model was copyrighted
in 2000. This is my second Tuskegee in this paint scheme, the first
being a Corgi. In this case, the
Corgi has the better paint, mainly because that model has available
red-painted main gear and a polished fuselage. While a polished surface
isn't the most desirable, the silver paint on the Matchbox is very
speckly, and not all that attractive. Nonetheless, it is a most desirable
model, and one I am happy to add to the collection. |
