Fw 190A-4 "White 8", Leutenant Walter Nowotny, Staffelkapitan

Archive. WWII Europe
& Africa. A clean machine (you could
eat off the exaust stacks--bratwurst, anyone?), and the first Fw 190
produced by Corgi (in 2003). White seems a strange color for the first
run, but maybe the pooch-moguls decided they could sell more copies
in this color if it was used for this first model then they could
if it was used for the fourth or fifth. Anyway, a good model overall,
and probably well worth the shekles, though I don't know how many
shekles there were, because I bought it before I started my spreadsheet
and lost my receipt to boot. I have since tightened record keeping,
thank you, though the main reason for the spreadsheet is to prevent
my accidently buying the same model twice! |
