Limited edition. I've
always favored the L-1011, and the Pan Am colors at this time were
very attractive. The release itself is a bit of an enigma: On the
model there is no aircraft name or registry number; the box the
model came in lists no part number nor is there a manufacturer's
logo. We must take it on faith that Wings900.com got it right when
they identified the model as a Blue Box creation. Despite these
drawbacks (if they are), the model seems well made, and is up to
the standards of AeroClassics or GeminiJets (a Herpa version of
the L-1011 fills the background in some of these photos). However,
for those who care, the resale value might be in question.
