Series. This was on sale so I got it to satisfy my curiosity
(being an ex-collector of 1/400). Nicely done model, and I think 1/200
is now the de facto airliner scale.
Diecast Siren call.
Collectors are being pulled every which way between and amongst scales
1/500, 1/400, 1/200, 1/144, 1/72, 1/48, and 1/32. At first I was a
one-scale guy (simple minded, you know), then went to two scales (weak
willed), then three (weak minded), and then four (like crazy, man).
Each attempt to stop collecting a certain scale only resulting in
collecting another (insert primal scream here). I blame my instability
on Matchbox announcing then cancelling their X-1; somehow that one
trauma unhinged the collector area of my brain... |
