Welcome to a small glimpse of my passion and profession.
My artistic expression started early with the media evolving though the years. The graphic design bug bit after I graduated from college. Starting as a staff artist in a printing company taught me the importance of attention to detail and 'press friendly' design. That strong foundation led to work in marketing/ad agencies rising to art director and manager. In '95 I bought my first Mac and have been loving the freelance life ever since.
My approach is creating “Smart Design” – a healthy balance of clients' desires, creativity, research, timing and budget. With all these ingredients in place, I believe each project will be a success. I have tackled a wide range of challenges from logos to catalogs, photo shoot direction to photo retouching. I still hold on to the “student” attitude – always eager to learn.
My business identity is Ten/Ten Design and I am often asked, “What does it mean?” It's a significant date to me and the beginning of my blank canvas!
