Model Airplanes

Here's a picture of my Sig Liberty Sport, I rebuilt this from a MAJOR crash and still have it. I crashed it recently and rebuilt it again. It flies very well with a Supertiger .61ABC for power. I scratch built this Grumman American Cougar from RCM plans. It had 6 channels with retracts and flaps witha pair of OS .25FSR's for power. I never lost an engine in all the time I flew it.

Here's a shot of me with the my old Royal P-38
It flew very well with a pair of OS .25FSR's.
It weighed just under 8 1/2 lbs, and was
covered with Monokote.
I sold it 5 years ago.
This is the my Mustang from the old "B" version
Top Flite kit. Power was an OS .61FSR and it had 6 channels with retracts and flaps. It flew like it was on rails - I sold it too about 5 years ago.

Hopefully I'll be putting up more airplane pictures very soon.

These planes were built and are flown by some good friends of mine:

Both of these beautiful representatives from the RAF were built by my good friend Tom Wolf. The twin on the left is a DeHavilland Mosiquito scratch built from Brian Taylor plans. On the right is a Spitfire built from the Pica kit.
Here's a shot of Tom starting the right engine for the Mossie's maiden flight !!
Here's a shot of it in the air! Tom has had it for 10, yes, that's 10 years, and still flies it, but not as much as he has in the past. It takes a good half an hour to assemble at the field, so it's not really an everyday flier.
It flies with 2 OS 46's with a wing loading of 52oz/sq ft.

Here's a static shot of Tom's first
TBM Avenger. Click HERE for
pictures.

Here are some pictures of my friend Randy's Top Flight P-39. It sure looks great !

Hopefully I'll be putting more shots up soon....
