I met with Dr. Ghislaine Robert in Japan at the FISU games. I immediately made a connection with her. After that, she became my doctor for the rest of my athletic career. She was always there when I needed her. For example, in 1996, I was preparing for the Olympic Games and just before leaving for a 4 months training camp, I tore my right calf muscle. Her prompt care helped me recover quickly and I was able to achieve the Olympic qualification time soon after and then go to Atlanta for the Olympic Games.

Dr. Robert is undoubtedly the best doctor I have ever met. She has always been very professional, available and efficient; she helped me to realize my goals in sports. I will always be thankful for that.
