I established Greenwich Home Inspection in response to the growing demand for home inspection services throughout Fairfield County and beyond.  Driving the demand is heightened awareness of the necessity for home inspections in the process of acquiring, as well as selling a home, the advocacy of home inspections by Realtors and lenders, as well as the introduction of mandatory property disclosure laws.

Because home inspectors have varying degrees of experience, qualifications, reporting methods, and pricing, a professional inspection depends heavily upon the inspector's knowledge of construction, the components of the various systems within a structure and the ability to convey clearly to the buyer what is gleaned from inspection of the home and premises.

My knowledge base comes from years in the industry. I am a fourth generation builder with over 30 years experience in providing home inspections. My background in construction has an enormous impact on my ability to provide the most accurate, detailed, unbiased reports. I leave no stone unturned, from the roof to the basement, checking everything in between.

The average inspection takes about three to four hours, depending on the size of the home and is not complete until I am satisfied that all areas have been thoroughly checked with the utmost care. Reports are typically available within 24 hours. Sub-inspections and testing can be arranged, such as testing for radon, water purity, condition of the septic system as well as anything else that you and I feel necessary.
