Writing
Tip Cadence is one of the key elements to
compelling writing. For best cadence, write in sequences of three. "He came, he
saw, he conquered" might never have gone down in war lore had it been "He came,
he saw, he attacked, he conquered" or simply "he came, he
conquered."
Editing Tip “It’s
or its? Here’s a simple test: If you can say “it is” just as easily, then you
need an apostrophe. If not, then it’s possessive and it’s a simple “its.”
Example: “It’s the first time Montana has played on its home
field.”
