Under the tutelage of Chesley H. Harris, who handled "Becky"
from the start of her field trial career until she was retired from active
competition, not a single year passed that "Becky Broom Hill's" name
was not among the winners of record, that another place was not added to her

her second win of the National Championship in January of 1923 ...
Came the National Championship of 1925 and "Becky Broom Hill" was as ready
as human hands could make her. ... With a meritorious performance -
perhaps not spectacular, but an honest, industrious and effective race -
"Becky Broom Hill" wrested the title from a field of twenty and emblazoned
her name in the field of trial archives, ever to remain a shining light
in pointer and setter annals.
