The District servers the Clatsop County communities of Astoria, Warrenton, Hammond, Gearhert, Seaside and Cannon Beach.

Tillamook County Transportation District makes two runs daily from Manzanita to Cannon Beach, Connecting with our routes 20/21.

Columbia County Rider makes twice-a-day runs on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from Westport to Rainier and Kelso/Longview, connecting with our Westport Shuttle route.

Oregon, California and Washington (OC&W) makes a daily run to Portland, beginning in Astoria and traveling down hwys. 101 and 26 to Portland.

Pacific Transit connects from points north in Washington to the Astoria Transit Center Monday through Friday.

Changes to Routes Effective September 22, 2008

Effective September 22, 2008, the following routes will be revised:
Route 10 will leave the Transit Center at 47 minutes after the hour, 5:47 am to 6:47 pm
Route 15 will be divided into Routes 12 and 15.
Route 12 will run through the west end of Astoria to Fred Meyer via the Miles Crossing/Jeffers Gardens area, leaving the Transit Center at 30 minutes after each hour, 5:30 am to 6:30 pm.
Route 15 will run west to Fred Meyers and the Warrenton/Hammond area, leaving the Transit Center at 47 minutes after each hour, 5:47 am to 6:47 pm.
Route 20 will continue the route as before with one revision, the bus will go to the hospital going north and south. The bus will leave the Seaside Cinema at 12 minutes after the hour,
6:12 am to 6:12 pm.

Rider of the Month for September 2008

Each month "The Bus" recognizes one of our special riders. Each month the drivers nominate a rider that he/she considers special. The names are placed in a hat and one name is picked. That special rider receives a voucher that can be used for a book of yellow tickets or $18 off either orange tickets or a monthly pass. The Rider of the Month for September is Chris Kiepke. Thanks Chris, you are special to us! A special thanks to all of our great rider!!

September 2, 2008 Web Site Revisions

The SETD web site has been completely revised. Please look around and see what has changed. If you have any questions or comments please contact the SETD Webmaster.

September 2008 Route Changes
On September 2, 2008, there will be some significant changes to the SETD routes.

  • The new 101 Express route will run from Seaside to the Clatsop College, no transfer necessary.
  • Route 10 east will have some time/stop adjustments. The route will be renamed route 10.
  • Routes 10 west and 15 will be combined into the new route 15.
  • Routes 20 and 21 will be combined into the new route 20. Service in Seaside will be significantly expanded.
  • The Route 21 Cannon Beach will be Sunday ONLY!
  • Route 30 will be from Astoria to Knappa.
  • The Westport Route will remain the same.

Fares will change as follows:

Cash Fares

  • All city routes (10, 15 & 20) will be $0.75 one way.
  • The 101 Express, Route 30 and Cannon Beach to Manzanita will be $3.00 one way.
  • Westport Route will be $4.00 one way

Passes

  • Day Passes will be $5.00
  • Regular Monthly will be $45.00
  • Senior/Disabled/Military w/ID and Students will be $30.00
  • Student Quarterly pass will be $60.00

Annual Passes

  • Regular will be $495.00
  • Senior/Disabled/Military w/ID and Students will be $330.00

Ticket Books

  • 101 Express, Route 30 and Cannon Beach to Manzanita (10 tickets) will be $27.00
  • City Routes (25 tickets) will be $18.00

The Astoria Transit Center will have an Credit Card/Debit Card reader available soon for purchasing passes and tickets. The reader will not be available for on-line orders, to receive cash back or for purchases of less than $5.00.
